Welcome to the EPPC!

Ifyou're between the ages of 8 and 80, you are in your prime for this sport / game / pastime. But be warned: It can be habit forming.

Pétanque (pronounced [pe.tãɪk] in French from the Provençal ped tanca, or fixed feet) originated in Southern France, but has found its way all over the world, including, of all places, El Paso, Texas.

Weare a group of people playing most Saturdays and Sundays between 9 a.m. and noon on Rim Road near upper Tom Lea Park. If you don't know what to do next weekend, or any other weekend, just come by and try it. We always have a spare set of Pétanque balls with us. For directions on how to get to where we play, go to the map and contact page.
